Offers for Hyderabad and Bangalore Offices

Uber has yet to comment on its package. According to the report, a company spokesperson said that Uber is hiring engineers for its centers located in Hyderabad and Bangalore. The company said that as part of this ongoing recruitment drive, Uber continues to visit top technology campuses across the country, including IITs. The company is giving opportunities to the graduates to apply for the jobs available there.

In many IITs, packages of more than Rs 1 crore are being offered to students for posting both in the country and abroad. There has been an increase in the number of packages above Rs 1 crore. There is a tough competition going on globally for top tech talent. High frequency trading companies such as Quantbox Research, Gravity Research, Da Vinci Derivatives and Quadeye are among the companies that have offered excellent salary packages to selected students on the first day of campus placements. Da Vinci is offering a package of around Rs 1.3 crore.

Domestic packages offered by some of these companies are up to Rs 1.8 crore. This includes the second year bonus and the sign-in bonus as well. Along with this, there are also non-cash benefits and ESOPs. Center for Career Development Head Abhishek Kumar said that both domestic and international packages have reached new heights this year. He said that the initial trends indicate that the average salary will be higher than last year. The institute has received an international offer from Uber.
