Share Market: Sensex and Nifty rise 0.2 per cent in Indian markets

Thursday saw a strong rally in the local stock market. The Sensex rose 777 points to close at 58461. The Nifty rose 235 points to close at 17402.

Share Market: Sensex and Nifty rise 0.2 per cent in Indian markets

Today, the last trading day of the week has started with a rally in the share market. Both the major indexes are trading above the green mark. The Sensex opened at 58,555.58 today from Thursday's close of 58,461.29. Speaking of Nifty, the index opened higher at 17,424.90 today against Thursday's close of 17,401.65.

Global market signals mixed

Global signals for the Indian stock market are mixed . In today's business, major Asian markets are experiencing weakness. US markets, on the other hand, saw a strong recovery on Thursday. Investors bought heavily on Thursday after selling on Wednesday due to Omicron. The Dow Jones rose 1.82 percent to close at 34,640, up 618 points. The Nasdaq gained 127 points. The S&P 500 Index rose 64 points to close at 4577. Speaking of Asian markets, the SGX Nifty is trading in the red. The Nikkei 225, Straits Times and Hang Seng are also down. While Taiwan is above the weighted green mark, Kospi has a weakness.

IPO Watch

Rakesh Jhunjhunwala's investor company Star Health's IPO is only 79 per cent full till its last day. The company will have to reduce the size of OFS by about 20 per cent. Today, the IPO of Tega Industries, which is about 14 times full, will close today. Anand Rathi Wealth's IPO has been filled more than one and a half times on the first day.

Ban on NSE under

F&O No trading in 2 stocks under F&O on NSE today. These stocks include Indiabulls Housing Finance and Vodafone Idea.

FII and DII data,

foreign institutional investors (FII) is guruvarane Rs. 909.71 crore. While Domestic Institutional Investors (DII) raised Rs. 1372.65 crore.

Stock Update

HDFC Asset Management Company has sold 174221 equity shares of Aarti Industries through an open market transaction on November 30. Now his stake in the company has fallen to 3.09 per cent.

In Kirloskar Oil Engines, Franklin Templeton Mutual Fund India Texshield Open acquired 1 million shares and Franklin Templeton Mutual Fund India Prima Plus acquired 3 million shares. The deal is priced at Rs 180 per share. On the other hand, Nalanda India Equity Fund has 22,28,570 equity shares of the company and Nalanda India Fund has 29,71,430 equity shares of Rs. 180.92 per share.
